Over 15 years of strategic HR experience across public sector, healthcare, nonprofits, and growing private businesses.
We build systems that reduce friction, strengthen leadership accountability, and turn HR into an operational advantage. Growth should not be accidental. It should be engineered.
We envision organizations where leadership is intentional, culture is owned — not enforced, and performance drives development.
At Faulkner HR Solutions, the work is straightforward: build HR systems that actually function under pressure. Not systems designed for the best-case scenario — systems built for the reality of the workplace, where things go sideways, people are unpredictable, and compliance doesn't wait for a convenient moment.
The focus is on Texas municipalities, nonprofits, and operational organizations — the kinds of places where HR is often underfunded, understaffed, and expected to handle everything from a termination to a harassment investigation before lunch. That context shapes every recommendation made.
Customized solutions for every client. Commitment to continuous improvement. Proven results with lasting impact.
Dr. Thomas W. Faulkner brings over 15 years of strategic human resources experience to organizations that need more than a consultant — they need someone who has been in the room when things go wrong and knows how to fix it.
As a U.S. Army veteran, he learned early that systems either hold under pressure or they don't. That same standard drives every engagement at Faulkner HR Solutions. His doctoral research focused on professional development frameworks in public sector organizations — specifically their impact on adaptability, motivation, and retention — and that foundation shapes how he approaches every client relationship.
He holds dual master's degrees in Business Administration and Leadership, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and the SPHR. He has worked across municipal government, healthcare, professional services, nonprofits, and growing private-sector businesses. HR challenges don't look the same in a city hall as they do in a 40-person professional services firm — and he builds solutions accordingly.
